The stamps of tis series were printed together, se-tenant, in blocks of four throughout the sheetlet. It was withdrawn immediately after release, the reason given was a quality issue wherein the ink used was soluble in water. As a result, the series became scarce and is highly sought after by the stamp collectors in India.
