1958
On 3rd April 1958, the government of Portuguese India commemorated the heraldic Coat of Arms of famous Viceroys. The stamps were designed by José de Moura and printed at Casa da Moeda de Portugal, Lisbon.
The design carried the coat of arms in multicolour, with the words REPUBLICA PORTUGESA at the top and ESTADO DA INDIA at the bottom. The denomination was printed at the left center.
