Charkhari

Charkhari Crossed Swords 1909-1930

1909-1930

The state of Charkhari was spread over 880 square miles and had 329 villages and 1 town within its territory. In 1941, the population of the state was 123,594, mostly Hindus. The state was under the administrative unit of Bundelkhand Agency, which was a sub-division of the Central India Agency. The main occupation of the state was agriculture and cattle rearing.
