King George V Single Star Watermark UPU Issues

1922-1926

In 1922, some values of King George V definitive stamps were printed again on the same watermarked paper of Single Star of India, but per the recommendations set forth by the Universal Postal Union. The stamps came in the denomination of One anna (chocolate), one and a half anna (rose carmine), two annas six pies (orange) and three annas (ultramarine).
